Hi, I’m Emm
I’ve studied productivity, planning, habits and goal-setting for YEARS. I want to share what I’ve learned and help people discover the right things to do and find the time to do them!
About me
In this space…
I started with a Day Runner in the 80’s. Then a Franklin Planner in the 90’s. I’ve been a fan of Getting Things Done (mostly) since the beginning. I even attended a breakfast with David Allen. Later I found the planner community, became immersed in all the digital options and many goal-setting systems.
I’m an advocate of a hybrid system with both digital and paper elements. They both have their strengths and weaknesses.
My current leanings are spiral notebooks, Google Sheets and sticky notes.
Outside of this space…
I live in the Pacific North West and haven’t had enough time to explore and enjoy it. That’s on my agenda. I love to garden, spend time with my dogs and cat, and friends and family.
I’ve got a degree in Philosophy, taught high school math for over 20 years, and have also worked in restaurants, retail and accounting.
